Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you'll have the flexibility to choose the schedule that best fits your life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. Assist clients with daily living activities including grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families to foster trust and communication. Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervising staff. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality care and adapt to each client's unique needs.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others. Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to attending shifts as scheduled. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Have additional certifications in caregiving or related fields. Are fluent in a second language other than English. Have experience with elderly care or individuals with disabilities.
