In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality, respectful, and attentive care to a wheelchair bound client in her home, fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life. Your dedication will help clients maintain comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting their well-being through tailored assistance and compassionate caregiving. Client has 20.25 hours a week on a 7 day plan. Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Remind to take medications Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of the living space Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices; perform heavy lifting when necessary Skills Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Familiarity with working with bead bound and wheelchair bound individuals with Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on compassion, patience, and active listening Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely; experience using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts is preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Effective communication skills for working closely with clients' families and healthcare teams Ability to follow detailed care plans while adapting to individual needs in a home environment Join us in providing exceptional in-home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently.
