Offer medication reminders and follow care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light house keeping duties, laundry, and sanitation tasks regularly.
Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing care strategies and engaging them in appropriate activities.
Document all care activities meticulously, including observations, medication reminders, and incident reports to ensure continuity of care and compliancy . Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge in hospice or dementia care is a plus.
Demonstrate the ability to work with individuals with disabilities, PTSD, and Veterans.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Physical ability to perform tasks safely and assist clients with mobility using proper techniques like Hoyer lifts.
Strong observational skills for monitoring client conditions and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration.
