Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and social skills. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to child supervision best practices, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns. Support children during outings or activities outside the home to promote safety and enjoyment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of childcare areas while following health and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices. Valid certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster learning and fun. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, team members, and children. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality at all times.
