As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety in various settings such as homes and assisted living facilities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support clients with dementia care by implementing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and any changes in client conditions. Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with organizational policies. Skills Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or similar role preferred but not required. A compassionate, patient, and dependable nature. Ability to follow care plans and work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Experience in dementia care techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
