About Us:
Assisting Hands Home Care in San Antonio provides non-medical, in-home care for seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals needing post-operative support. Their licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care.
Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with your team to ensure each client's unique preferences and needs are met, helping to maintain their dignity and independence. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements. Administer medication reminders and support with basic health monitoring. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly or disabled clients. Excellent communication skills, fluency in English. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
Bonus If You:
Have a certification in First Aid or CPR. Are bilingual, with additional language skills.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position that may include working on weekdays and weekends.
Location:
This position serves Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Northern San Antonio and surrounding areas
