Overnight caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care during nighttime hours. Duties Monitor residents' safety and well-being throughout the night, responding promptly to any emergencies or needs Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Record vital signs regularly and document any changes or concerns in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Support residents with dementia or memory impairments through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Prepare nutritious meals or snacks as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning and sanitizing resident areas Requirements Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Physical ability to assist residents with mobility tools such as Hoyer lifts or similar equipment Prior experience working in group homes, personal care homes, retirement homes, or long-term care settings is preferredJoin us as an Overnight Caregiver and become an essential part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate, around-the-clock support.
