Header Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Part-time Caregiver, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal care. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours, paid time off, and weekly pay, ensuring you can balance work with your personal commitments. You will provide essential assistance in home health, assisted living, or memory care settings, fostering independence and well-being for those in your care. Your proactive approach and caring nature will help create a safe, supportive environment for clients with diverse needs, including dementia, neurodevelopmental disorders, and disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor and observe patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall health status, documenting changes accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote proper nutrition. Support clients with medication administration following prescribed care plans and ensure proper documentation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life in group home or assisted living environments. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and organizing living spaces. Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during patient transfers and mobility. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to observe patients closely and respond appropriately to their needs. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or autism support is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is desirable. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members. Flexibility to work part-time hours with a positive attitude towards caregiving responsibilities.
