opening for a part-time, bilingual Vietnamese-speaking caregiver available on weekdays for clients in North and Central Dallas. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality personal care to senior clients in the Dallas area. We are primarily seeking candidates with flexible schedules that are available on weekdays in the morning and afternoon hours and in close proximity to North, Central and East Dallas. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and emotional and social well-being. This role is essential in promoting a positive environment for seniors. Understands the importance of our services to our seniors Has a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission Has a high level of emotional intelligence Has the ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan Has the maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Maintains the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS Is proactive to find other ways to help our seniors beyond just completing daily tasks Companionship and Homemaker responsibilities may include: Provide Companionship and Socialization Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc… Shopping and Errands Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Pet Care Overnight Supervision Incidental Transportation to doctor's appointments, family, or their favorite activities Personal Care responsibilities may include: Assist with Dressing Assist with Feeding Assist with Showering / Bathing Mobility Assistance Assist with Toileting / Incontinence Memory Care Requirements Has at least two years of caregiving experience. Professional caregiving experience and CNA and HHA certifications are a plus. Is bilingual and proficient in speaking both Vietnamese and English fluently Personable and effective communication skills with clients, families and SHS team Has reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance Compliance with State of Texas regulations, DMV check, and background check.
