Divinity Hospice is currently looking Homemakers to join our team! The primary function is to provide personal assistance to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with supervisor. Shift 1-10 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Current Driver's License Reliable Transportation Current Auto Insurance Strong interpersonal skills One year experience preferred in providing services to individuals needing homemaker/companion assistance Demonstrate interest in the welfare of the ill and elderly Sensitivity to issues of loss and grief

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide duties as per the plan of care, examples include: Companionship Light housekeeping Laundry services Errands, assist with meal preparation Utilize durable medical equipment in the home (DME) Document services and submit timely
