As a locally owned company, we operate five BrightStar Care agencies across North and East Texas, serving various communities with high-quality in-home care and skilled nursing services.
Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at BrightStar Care of Plano/N. Dallas, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to clients in the Mansfield, Fort Worth, and Crowley areas. In this position, you'll work closely with clients and their families to enhance their quality of life while promoting their independence. This is an on-site only position, offering a flexible schedule that aligns with your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including daily living activities and companionship. Support clients with mobility and personal hygiene needs to ensure their comfort. Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and dependable with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence. Experience in caregiving, particularly with adolescent autism care and geriatric care is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to pass background checks as required.
Bonus If You:
Have formal training or certifications in a caregiving-related field. Possess additional language skills that can aid in client communication.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours available throughout the week.
Location:
This position is on-site only and open to candidates in the Fort Worth, Texas area.
