Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Support patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring a safe environment Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents or clients with mobility challenges Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA standards and care plans Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver consistent and effective patient care Engage in patient observation to identify any concerns or changes requiring medical attention Skills Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse populations Knowledge of First Aid and CPR certification to respond promptly during emergencies Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Familiarity with Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities care techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts Strong understanding of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care plan implementation Compassionate caregiver with patience for working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information Skilled in patient observation, monitoring changes in condition, and reporting accurately to healthcare teams Capable of performing light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic living space Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional care while fostering a positive environment for those who need it most.
