Patience, kindenss, endurance, stamina and love is a must. Kind voice and opportunities for children to be independent. Children prep and care for food, bake bread daily, clean up after themselves, use work properly while under your guidance. Caregivers clean their classrooms including dishes/laundry and bathrooms. Those who care for their environment take more pride in their work. Will be trained in Love and Logic Behavior management, Montessori philosophy, and practical skills to have a successful and consistent classroom. This isn't an easy job especially if you have worked at traditional daycares. It is a totally different mindset and will change how you look at a child and their potential. Once you go Montessori, you can never go back! Starting pay is $13 an hour for someone with no experience and a HS education. The more experience and education the more you can earn.
