Overview We are looking for weekend doubles caregivers, Sat and Sun from either 6:30am to 6:30pm or 6:30pm to 6:30am Join our dedicated caregiving team as a Weekend Doubles Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities! Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia through personalized engagement and behavior management techniques Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities Maintain resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and personal preferences at all times Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and geriatrics enhances your ability to support residents effectively Knowledge of vital signs measurement, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification is essential for safety and emergency response Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive disabilities is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks required for resident transfers or equipment use Strong communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members in a respectful manner Demonstrated commitment to resident's rights and providing compassionate senior care in home & community settings Embark on a rewarding caregiving journey where your energy makes a real impact!
