Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide comprehensive support to clients in a group home setting during 8 AM to 8 PM shifts. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in patient care, assisted living, and home health services, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with various disabilities and health conditions. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting a respectful and engaging environment. Please note that the client is a smoker, and this factor should be considered when applying for this position. All caregiving roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience in long-term and community-based care. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor residents' vital signs and observe patient behavior to identify any changes in health status or potential concerns. Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking for residents. Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care strategies and personalized engagement. Maintain cleanliness of the living environment by performing regular cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transfers and travel. Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that respect residents' rights and preferences. Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR as needed, ensuring resident safety at all times. Experience Candidates should demonstrate prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, or geriatrics is highly desirable. Familiarity with hospice care, dementia care, memory support strategies, and patient monitoring is essential for success in this role. Applicants must have a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and experience administering medications safely. Prior exposure to manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts, patient transfer methods, and vital signs measurement is required. Candidates with background in caregiving for individuals with developmental disabilities or long-term care experience will find this role particularly well-suited to their skills. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
