Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team. The Caregiver is responsible for providing quality care, assistance, and emotional support to residents while helping maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and resident-centered environment. The ideal candidate is caring, patient, reliable, and committed to promoting the dignity, independence, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance. Provide assistance with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain social engagement. Assist residents with meals and hydration as needed. Provide medication reminders in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations. Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report any changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate staff. Follow individualized care plans and facility procedures when providing resident care. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Assist with housekeeping duties related to resident care and common living areas as assigned. Respect residents' privacy, dignity, independence, and personal preferences. Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with all applicable privacy regulations and facility policies. Communicate effectively with nurses, management, residents, families, and other members of the care team. Complete required documentation and care-related records accurately and timely. Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies according to facility procedures. Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures. Perform other caregiving duties as assigned by management. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, senior care, or a related field preferred. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful approach to resident care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, repositioning, and mobility of residents as required. Basic computer skills for completing electronic documentation preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Must be willing to follow all facility policies, procedures, and resident-care standards.

Pay:

$10.00 - $11.50 per hour
