Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregiver/Receptionist to join our Assisted Living team. This dual-role position is responsible for providing quality care and support to residents while serving as the first point of contact for visitors, families, and vendors. The ideal candidate is caring, organized, and committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and resident-centered environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, and medication reminders. Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage resident engagement in activities. Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate staff. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Greet residents, family members, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries. Manage front desk operations, including visitor sign-in procedures and resident communication. Schedule appointments, maintain resident records, and assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation. Coordinate communication between residents, families, caregivers, and management staff. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all resident privacy regulations and facility policies. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, senior care, reception, or customer service preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic record systems. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

$10.00 - $11.50 per hour
