As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive positive outcomes by utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, conducting comprehensive assessments, and collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Duties Design, oversee, and evaluate behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring alignment with best practices in behavioral health and special education. Conduct detailed patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures to establish baseline behaviors and treatment goals. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote skill development and reduce problematic behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency of care across settings while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation standards. Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff, fostering a team environment focused on patient-centered care. Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes, and documentation using appropriate medical terminology in accordance with organizational policies. Experience Master's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field from an accredited institution. Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable. Prior experience in behavioral health or special education settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for ongoing professional development is valued.
