Job Description

Job Overview Compassionate Caring Hands Solutions is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to join our growing team. Our caregivers may provide services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and individuals who require assistance due to age, disability, illness, injury, developmental needs, or other circumstances affecting their ability to independently manage daily activities. This position serves clients throughout Harris County, Texas , including but not limited to North Houston, West Houston areas such as Katy, Humble, Atascocita, and surrounding communities .
Please note:
Full-Time is up to 40 hours, Part-Time is up to 20 hours. Depending on the client need, you may need to work more or less than noted hours. Duties Provide compassionate, person-centered care to clients of all ages. Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals, transportation and daily activities as needed. Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and other client-related tasks, as needed. Follow each client's individualized care plan and safety guidelines. Monitor, document and report changes in the client's condition or needs. Maintain accurate documentation and protect client confidentiality. Communicate professionally with clients, families and care team. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols, as needed. Including medication documentation, as needed. Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning. Maintain cleanliness of client areas through routine cleaning tasks to promote hygiene and comfort. Qualifications 2+ years' experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia management, and behavioral support techniques. Additional knowledge of caregiving, home care, personal care, companionship, or related experience, preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid, required. Additional certifications are a plus. Ability to operate manual handling equipment safely and perform heavy lifting, as needed. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with medication administration procedures according to healthcare guidelines. Long-term care experience or home & community care background is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach. Must be able to maintain client confidentiality. Reliable transportation, required. Proof of vehicle insurance is required as you may have to transport client. Must successfully complete any required background screening and onboarding requirements. Must be able to speak English fluently, bilingual is a plus.
