Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure. Fiber optic cable pulling. Perform excavation and restoration activities using hand tools and construction equipment. Dig trenches and install conduit, ducts, handholes, and utility vaults. Assist with pulling, placing, and securing fiber optic cables. Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools to job sites. Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely. Assist with traffic control and job site setup. Restore work areas after construction activities. Follow construction drawings, work orders, and supervisor instructions. Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain tools. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Report hazards, damaged equipment, or safety concerns immediately. Support crew members to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Experience in fiber optic cable pulling. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Reliable transportation to reporting locations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, utilities, landscaping, telecommunications, or similar outdoor work. Experience operating hand and power tools.
