This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs, including those with memory care challenges and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Monitor and record vital signs as needed. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Support individuals with memory care needs through patience and understanding. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs. Document care provided in compliance with company policies. Skills Experience in caregiving, particularly in home health or assisted living settings. Knowledge of memory care techniques and strategies. Ability to perform basic cooking tasks for meal preparation. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset. Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding basic health indicators. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
