Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, including individuals with autism and memory care needs. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of personal care, daily living assistance, and emotional support. Duties Provide direct support to clients by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of clients. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring that all aspects of care are met. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Provide support for transferring when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Work collaboratively with families and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Understanding of memory care principles and practices is beneficial. Ability to perform transfer as needed while maintaining proper body mechanics.
