HIRING IMMEDIATELY MULTIPLE SHIFTS, VARIOUS HOURS
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a blend of personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities. Duties Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs and preferences. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Support individuals with disabilities, including autism, by implementing personalized care plans. Maintain client confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and respecting resident rights. Assist with hospice care when necessary, providing emotional support to both clients and families. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client health to the appropriate parties. Requirements Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of memory care techniques and direct support for individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Strong understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity in care. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs.
