This role is crucial in ensuring that clients receive the care they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly with seniors and individuals with disabilities, and will be committed to delivering high-quality assistance in a respectful and dignified manner. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Monitor and record vital signs as needed. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Support clients with daily living activities such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals through supportive care. Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with company policies. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or home health care is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and assisted living environments is a plus. Familiarity with working with individuals who have disabilities or developmental challenges is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients safely. Reliable transportation for travel between client homes may be required. Certification in CPR/First Aid is beneficial but not mandatory at the time of hire; training will be provided.
