Comfort Keepers is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregiver for an overnight in-home care opportunity in Lakeway, TX. The ideal caregiver will have experience assisting clients with mobility limitations and stroke-related care needs and will be comfortable providing safe, hands-on assistance while maintaining the client's independence and dignity. This position is especially suited for a caregiver who is confident with walker assistance, gait belts, transfers, fall prevention, bathing/dressing assistance, and mobility exercises.

Schedule Overnight:

8:00 PM-8:00 AM Week-by-week scheduling initially Consistent caregiver or small caregiver team preferred What You'll Be Doing As a caregiver, you may assist with: Overnight supervision and safety monitoring Fall prevention and mobility support Assisting with walking using a walker Safe transfers using proper techniques and a gait belt Bathing and dressing assistance Supporting prescribed physical exercises and mobility activities Toileting and personal care assistance Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and organized home environment Providing companionship and encouragement Following the established care plan and using proper safety techniques Communicating appropriately with the family and Comfort Keepers care team Qualified Applicants Should Have At least one year of professional caregiving experience or CNA/HHA certification Experience with stroke recovery or clients with mobility limitations preferred Experience with gait belts and safe transfer techniques Experience assisting clients who use walkers Strong fall-prevention and safety awareness Comfortable providing bathing and dressing assistance Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance Dependable attendance and ability to commit to scheduled overnight shifts Calm, patient, and compassionate approach Willingness to follow proper caregiver training and safety procedures

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
