In Home Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring safety for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional caregiving services. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the home by performing light cleaning tasks and laundry Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Document care activities, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Support clients during outings or community activities to foster social engagement Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures to ensure client safety at all times Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients' families, healthcare providers, and team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life while respecting their dignity and independence Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight as needed Join us as an In Home Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving.
