Our dedicated caregivers deliver personalized care to promote independence and peace of mind for families, ensuring safety and comfort in home or facility settings. Overview We are urgently seeking reliable and caring caregivers to join our team in League City. This position offers flexible shifts including afternoon, overnight, and full-day hours, with a commitment of seven days per week. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care, supporting clients with daily activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration; report changes to healthcare professionals as needed. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in accordance with facility protocols. Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship, engaging activities, and respectful communication. Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings; experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while adhering to safety standards. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving attitude; ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts. Valid background screening; reliable transportation preferred.
