Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and attentive caregiver to provide 4 hours of at-home care for a frail elderly lady. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's daily life by offering personalized support, ensuring safety, and assisting with essential activities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and experienced in senior care, with a strong focus on promoting independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Monitor the patient's health by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with patient transfer methods using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Requirements Prior experience working with seniors or in home health, assisted living, or nursing home settings Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders Ability to observe patient condition carefully and communicate effectively with family or healthcare providers Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; training will be provided if necessary Familiarity with patient monitoring tools, care plans, medication administration, and HIPAA regulations Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus Strong manual handling skills and ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required Join us in delivering dedicated home care that enriches lives!
