A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.
Provide direct care and work with the treatment team to implement programs designed to meet the physical, developmental, and emotional needs of children in basic care, transitional youth, and teen parenting.

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience with emotionally troubled children
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Awake Overnight childcare and supervision services for each assigned child. Review all pertinent information regarding the assigned cottage's residents and upcoming evening schedule at the beginning of the shift. Complete rounds to check on each child in care every 30 minutes and document on the cottage log sheet. Provide the level of supervision necessary to ensure each child's safety and well-being, including auditory and/or visual awareness of each child's ongoing activity as appropriate. Must be 21 years of age per licensing standards. Be able to read, write and communicate with co-workers, medical personnel and other persons necessary to care for the young adult's needs. Have a Valid Texas Driver's License. Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adult in care. Meet the requirements of licensing standards in regards to a criminal background check.
