Overview Big Country Healthcare Services, LLC is looking to place someone directly with a private family. We are looking for someone with experience in caregiving who can assist with activities of daily living, monitoring the patient for signs of distress, light cleaning, and light meal preparation. The family is in Mansfield (Rendon area). Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and hygiene. Support patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote proper nutrition. Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal belongings. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering positive communication and respecting residents' rights at all times. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior promptly. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Ability to operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, blood pressure monitors, and other patient monitoring devices. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Experience working within home health or community care settings is highly valued.

Pay:

$12.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
