Role Summary As a Weekend Care Associate at Ambria, you'll bring steady, attentive care to our residents on Saturdays and Sundays, the days when routine matters most and families often visit. This role is a great fit for a caregiver who wants consistent weekend hours, whether that's balancing another job, school, or simply a preference for a set schedule. Role Details We're looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver who takes pride in knowing residents by name and by story. You're comfortable stepping into either building as needed and adapting to different resident needs from one weekend to the next. You believe every senior deserves dignity and independence, and you're excited to be part of a team redefining what senior care can look like. Key Responsibilities
Personalized Care Delivery:
Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living while maintaining each resident's dignity and independence.Relationship Building:
Take time to learn each resident's personal history, preferences, and routines to provide truly individualized care.Meal Preparation & Service:
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary plans, accommodating special restrictions with care.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the weekend team and hand off clearly to the weekday team.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of care provided, resident progress, and any changes in condition.Family Communication:
Welcome and support visiting families, many of whom visit on weekends.Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a secure, clean environment for residents. Requirements- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to connect with seniors
- Reliable availability for weekend shifts, every Saturday and Sunday
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and daily activities
- High school diploma or equivalent Schedule
Weekend Availability:
Saturday and Sunday shifts- 8 or 12-hour shifts, with day and evening options depending on need
- Floats between the assisted living and memory care buildings
- Consistent scheduling with advance notice of any changes Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour
