Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety standards Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers and repositioning Maintain cleanliness by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and room tidying Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address needs Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for client transportation when necessary Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards seniors and individuals with disabilities Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks safely Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where every individual receives respectful, attentive care. $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
