Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support to our residents and clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the administration of medication and provide additional care services in an Assisted Living, Home Community Care, or Hospice Care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of medication to residents or clients, ensuring that medications are given in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Provide basic care and support, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and medication administration.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in providing acute care services, including vital sign checks and basic wound care.
• Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of patient care and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Skills:

• Experience in caregiving and patient care settings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of hospice care and the importance of end-of-life care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
