Assisting Hands Home Care in San Antonio provides non-medical, in-home care for seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals needing post-operative support. Our licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care.
Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to assist clients in maintaining their dignity and independence. This position is on-site, allowing you to build meaningful connections with those you care for.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing and grooming. Help clients with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Administer medication reminders and support with prescribed therapies. Offer mobility assistance and support with daily living activities.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in caregiving or a related field. Strong communication skills in English. Genuine compassion for the elderly and disabled community. Ability to tailor care plans to meet individual needs. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Bonus If You:
Have CPR and First Aid certification. Possess specialized training in dementia or Alzheimer's care.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position available from Monday through Sunday.
