Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with your team to ensure our clients receive compassionate care tailored to their personal preferences and needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll have the flexibility to assist clients throughout their day in a supportive and dignified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs. Offer companionship and emotional support to help maintain the client's mental and emotional well-being. Manage medication reminders to ensure clients follow their prescribed treatment plans. Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in caregiving or healthcare support roles. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to empathize with clients and provide care with kindness and respect. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
