About Us:
Assisting Hands Home Care in San Antonio provides non-medical, in-home care for seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals needing post-operative support. Their licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care. Our mission is to offer clients personalized non-medical support services in their homes, assisting the elderly, disabled, and others needing assistance to maintain quality of life. We support the individual's choices and preferences to maintain their dignity and independence. Our focus is on caring for clients with compassion, respect, and a genuine concern for their welfare.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the care team to tailor our services to fit the specific needs of each client. Whether you work on-site at our facilities in New Braunfels, Texas, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and engage with clients in a positive and nurturing manner. Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks. Help prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as required. Provide medication reminders and support clients in adhering to prescribed routines. Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care plans are met and adjusted as needed.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Experience in providing personal care or working with elderly and disabled individuals. Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to clients' homes.
Bonus If You:
Possess a certification in CPR or First Aid. Have experience in a caregiving role. Are bilingual or have proficiency in another language to better connect with clients.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position that may include weekends.

This position serves New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Northern San Antonio and surrounding communities
