Job Description
Caregiver About the Role We're looking for compassionate, reliable Caregivers to help clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. You'll provide personalized care, companionship, and everyday support in clients' homes, hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living communities, or nursing facilities. What You'll Do Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor clients' health and promptly report any changes or concerns Prepare nutritious meals and help with meal planning Keep living spaces clean and safe with light housekeeping Administer medications as directed, following each client's care plan Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and use of lifts when needed Support clients with Alzheimer's or dementia through specialized memory care Help individuals with developmental disabilities or autism with daily activities Communicate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure quality, coordinated care What We're Looking For 3+ years of caregiving experience (required) CNA certification (preferred) First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) Experience in home care, group homes, or long-term care (preferred) Comfortable with hospice or community-based care (a plus) Strong observation skills and attentiveness to client needs Ability to safely assist with lifting and mobility Understanding of HIPAA and a strong commitment to confidentiality A patient, compassionate, and respectful approach to care Why Join FirstLight You'll be part of a team that genuinely values compassion and professionalism — where your work makes a real difference in someone's life every day.
