Our dedicated caregivers deliver personalized care to promote independence and peace of mind for families, ensuring safety and comfort in home or assisted living settings. Job Overview We are urgently hiring a caring and dependable Caregiver to support our clients Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM in Pasadena. This role involves assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, dementia or memory care, and be proficient in medical documentation and patient observation. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Observe and monitor patients' health status, noting any changes or concerns for proper documentation. Support medication administration following prescribed schedules while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning. Document patient care activities accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Experience Candidates should possess One experience in senior or home health care, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs. Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, hospice care, Hoyer lifts, and CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience with long-term care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities is preferred. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$12.50 per hour
