Responsibilities :
- Provide assistance with daily living activities including but not limited to grooming, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Providing stimulating and encouraging companionship
- Prepare and serve meals as needed
- Assisting with medication intake and reminders
- Assist clients with ambulation, mobility/physical exercises
- Appointment reminders as well as accompanying clients to appointments
- Run errands or accompany clients to do their errands
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as washing laundry, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, as necessary to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for client.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments.
Qualifications :
- Caregiving Experience (1yr
REQUIRED
)- Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proof of valid Driver's License & Auto Insurance (REQUIRED)
- Reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
- Must be physically capable of performing personal care tasks
- Must be able to understand and carry out directions or instructions, record notes, and keep records.
- Must be able to pass a background check (must have no adverse record or be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry).
