Rosenberg, TX Position Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to join our Residential Treatment Center team. The Direct Care Staff member will provide direct supervision, support, and assistance to residents while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting residents' daily living activities, treatment goals, and overall well-being. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and monitor residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care needs as required. Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Document resident behaviors, incidents, and daily activities accurately and timely. Transport residents to appointments, activities, and community outings when necessary. Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and facility organization. Support treatment plans and encourage positive behavioral outcomes. Conduct routine room checks and facility inspections. Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clinicians, and other team members. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working in behavioral health, residential treatment, mental health, substance abuse treatment, youth services, or social services preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
