Looking for a caregiver helper to help assist 4 residents in my care home located in Round Rock Tx. Please speak English and must have 2 yrs experience as a caregiver. This position is needing to start asap. The days include Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday from 8-3pm this is contract. Please call 737-218-8518 for more information. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care plans. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, outings, or community activities to promote independence and engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods, including equipment like Hoyer lifts, to ensure safety for both residents and staff. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and hospice or palliative care practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, patient monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders (including autism), or developmental disabilities is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, assist with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment, and handle manual tasks confidently. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus; ongoing training in geriatrics or long-term care is beneficial.
