Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking Support mobility and transfer using proper techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety Maintain detailed care plans and document all patient interactions, observations, and care provided in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for clients Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and ensuring a safe living space Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community activities using appropriate personal transportation methods Experience Prior experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is highly preferred Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and caring for individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities Knowledge of resident's rights, care plans development, manual handling techniques, and HIPAA compliance Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities supporting their unique needs Hands-on experience utilizing patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other manual handling equipment Background in geriatrics or long-term care environments that emphasize compassionate caregiving and client communication Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing top-quality home care that empowers clients to live safely and comfortably.
