Journey of Care LLC, a nurse-owned home-care agency, is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver for a potential recurring assignment in Spring, Texas 77373.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday Approximately four hours per visit Approximately 12 hours per week Exact daytime hours to be confirmed Potential opportunity for additional assignments

Pay:

$16 per hourBiweekly payroll

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship, social engagement and supervision in a group-home setting Encourage participation in appropriate recreational and community activities Maintain clear, professional boundaries and provide calm redirection Assist with limited personal care, such as hair washing, when included in the service plan Follow the client's individualized service plan and agency policies Observe and report behavioral or condition changes Complete accurate caregiver visit documentation Communicate professionally with the client, group-home staff and Journey of Care management Transportation for client outings will be provided by the group home. The caregiver must have reliable transportation to and from the assignment.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old Previous caregiving, direct-support or companion-care experience Experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities or behavioral needs is strongly preferred Calm, patient and able to maintain firm professional boundaries Dependable and able to commit consistently to the recurring schedule Able to pass all required background and employee-misconduct registry checks Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred Valid identification and authorization to work in the United States Reliable transportation to the client's location This position is contingent upon completion of the client assessment, final scheduling and a successful caregiver match.
