Caridad Home Care Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Attendants to provide quality in-home care services to clients throughout the Lubbock area. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly and disabled individuals by helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Essential Functions

Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication with clients, family members, and agency personnel.

Provide an environment that promotes respect for the client's privacy, dignity, and personal property.

Provide personal assistance and/or health-related tasks according to the client's Individualized Service Plan.

Observe, document, and appropriately report changes in the client's condition to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.

Utilize the skills necessary to perform services in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Contribute to the efficient operation of the agency through effective communication and teamwork.

Demonstrate effective time management skills.

Maintain professional competence by attending required in-service trainings and educational programs.

Promote the agency's philosophy, mission, and administrative policies to ensure the delivery of quality care.

Job Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance and health-related services to clients in their place of residence.

Assist clients with activities of daily living and assigned personal care tasks.

Work cooperatively with clients and family members.

Follow written care plans and supervisor instructions.

Monitor client well-being and report observations, concerns, and problems to the Supervisor.

Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Perform assigned duties in a compassionate, professional, and respectful manner.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Environmental and Working Conditions

Work is performed in clients' residences under varying conditions.

Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Requires local travel to client assignments.

Some exposure to unpleasant weather conditions may occur when traveling between assignments.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Prolonged standing and walking required.

Must be able to lift, transfer, and move clients and lift up to 50 pounds.

Requires the ability to work under stressful conditions and manage multiple responsibilities.

Must be able to identify client needs, make quick decisions, and respond appropriately to client and family psychosocial needs.

Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Must be able to safely use durable medical equipment in the home setting.
