Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Resident Aide working the 6 PM- 6AM and PRN shifts in an assisted living community. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, around-the-clock care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during overnight hours. Responsibilities Monitor residents throughout the overnight shift, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Observe and document residents' health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition Administer medications as prescribed, following proper protocols and documentation procedures Respond promptly to residents' needs or emergencies, utilizing skills such as first aid and CPR when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and sanitizing common areas Support residents with meal preparation or feeding assistance as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents Must be 18+ and legally allowed to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation Join us to be part of a caring team that values dedication, compassion, and the opportunity to positively impact lives during overnight hours.
