Job Description
Family Matters Services is looking for compassionate in-home caregivers to provide high quality assistance to individuals with special needs or disabilities. Your job will be to help clients by: Serving as a companion Providing transportation to activities, events, etc. Encouraging light exercise (walks, bikes, swims, stretches) Taking clients to social activities, fairs, and events in the community or with family and friends Help with doctor's appointments and shopping Manage medications Prepare meals and snacks Light housekeeping Pet support Teaching life skills, such as cooking, exercise, and hygiene Requirements Must be patient, caring, compassionate, friendly, and professional Must have reliable transportation Must be 18 years or older and a high school graduate Must be able to pass a background check Evening shifts/Weekends required Salary and Benefits Part-time- role is a combination of evening, day and weekend shifts.
