Caregiver Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents. The ideal candidate will ensure residents' dignity, privacy, and well-being while delivering high-quality support to meet or exceed expectations. This role involves assisting with personal care, medication management, and daily tasks, fostering independence and comfort for residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, oral care, incontinence management, and grooming. Provide support with meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and serving meals as needed. Administer medications accurately according to care plans. Maintain the dignity and privacy of all residents at all times. Document services provided and any significant changes in residents' conditions accurately. Report concerns regarding residents' health or well-being to the Resident Care Coordinator, Nurse, or Administrator promptly. Protect resident confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards. Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and health regulations of the community. Perform additional tasks such as light housekeeping or other duties assigned by supervisors. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold community standards of cleanliness and safety. Function independently while providing compassionate care tailored to each resident's needs.
