In this vital role, you will provide assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for residents across various care settings. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality care will help foster a warm and supportive community where everyone feels valued and empowered. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while ensuring resident safety and adherence to rights Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, accommodating special needs or restrictions when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Requirements Must be able to pass a background check. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely for community outings or appointments Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe patient lifting practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to provide compassionate support that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
