This vital role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, respectful, and attentive assistance to clients in their own homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted partner in daily activities, ensuring comfort and dignity while delivering essential care services. Your dedication will help clients maintain their quality of life and achieve their personal health and wellness goals. There are multiple shifts available for this role. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring safety during meal times. Administer medication as prescribed following HIPAA regulations and care plans established by healthcare providers. Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, implementing personalized strategies to enhance safety and comfort. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, medication administration, and progress notes in compliance with privacy standards. Coordinate transportation arrangements for medical appointments or community outings while ensuring client safety at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, first aid procedures, CPR certification, and safe manual handling practices. Familiarity with care plans related to dementia, Alzheimer's disease, hospice care, or long-term home health services. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in HIPAA compliance preferred.
