Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Aide dedicated to providing exceptional support to clients living in Ashburn. In this vital role, you will assist individuals with their daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure their safety and comfort. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and infection control practices Observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior, reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and heavy lifting when required Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, vital signs, and care provided Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and administering medications is advantageous Experience with care plans development and execution enhances your ability to deliver personalized support Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is appreciated Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with autism or disabilities, and those requiring long-term or hospice care This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference through dedicated caregiving.
